I created The logo above for a commemorative coin for the 2022 season of my Bloodbowl league. It's formatted as an svg, and thus had to be embedded, as the familiar 'img' tag was causing issues.
Turns out the 'embed' tag was also causing issues! apart from being largely depreciated, it was also proving non-reactive to window size. 'object' tag was the answer, though it took an embarrassingly long time for me to work it out.
So, turns out the 'object' tag is not good semantic HTML, so I started from scratch yet again. This time I used a single container, and used the 'img' tag, and I formatted the background as a 'background-image', and used 'background-blend-mode' to fade the backdrop, and allow the logo to draw focus.
I exported the logo as an .svg using Photoshop, and ran into myriad problems as it seems that my Photoshop exports .svg's with a very slightly wrong media type ('data:img/png', instead of 'data:image/png'), which was causing problems with the image displaying in chrome, but worked fine in my IDE.
The .svg problem vexed me for hours, and was only solved with the aid of my software developing friend Richard Johnson, who discovered the solution Here
